Continue to the fascinating Angkor National Museum, where you will learn about the history of the Khmer Empire through an impressive collection of artifacts, sculptures, and multimedia exhibitions related to the Angkor civilization.

In the early evening, discover the vibrant nightlife of Siem Reap with a Tuk Tuk street food experience. Travel through the lively streets and local markets while sampling a variety of Cambodian specialties. You will stroll through night markets, visit local food stalls, and enjoy dinner at a local beer garden with refreshing drinks.

For adventurous travelers, there will be an opportunity to taste Cambodia’s famous fried insects and unique street snacks. You may also experience a fun fish massage, a popular activity among visitors exploring the night market area.

At the end of the evening, return to your hotel by Tuk Tuk and relax after your first exciting day in Siem Reap.

Note: If guests prefer not to dine at the local beer garden, dinner will be arranged at Chanrey Tree with a set menu (meal only, beverages excluded).

At 07:00 AM, depart from Siem Reap and drive approximately 35 km through the Cambodian countryside to visit the beautiful temple of Banteay Srei. Built in the 10th century and dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, this small yet magnificent temple is considered the jewel of classical Khmer art. Constructed from pink sandstone, it is famous for its exceptionally detailed carvings, elegant lintels, pediments, and decorative friezes.

Continue to the peaceful temple of Chau Srei Vibol, located on a hilltop away from the main tourist routes. This charming and lesser-known temple offers a quiet atmosphere and is rarely visited, providing a unique opportunity to explore a hidden gem of the Angkor region.

Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. (Meal at guests’ own expense.)

In the afternoon, travel to the ancient site of Hariharalaya, one of the earliest centers of the Khmer civilization, flourishing during the late 9th and early 10th centuries. This historic area is commonly known as the Roluos Group. Here you will visit Bakong Temple, the largest and most important temple of the group, built as a temple-mountain symbolizing Mount Meru in Hindu cosmology.

Optional Activity – Sunset Champagne (USD 30 per person):
Enjoy a relaxing sunset experience in the Cambodian countryside with a glass of champagne served among the rice paddies. The exact location for the setup may vary depending on the season and the guide’s recommendation.

Start the day at 07:00 AM to avoid the crowds with a visit to the picturesque Ta Prohm. This remarkable temple is well known for the giant tree roots that grow over the ancient stone structures, creating a dramatic scene where nature and architecture intertwine. The impressive roots wrapping around the temple walls create one of the most iconic images of the Angkor region.

Continue to explore the magnificent Angkor Wat, one of the most remarkable and best-preserved temple complexes in the world. The temple is famous for its grand Khmer architecture and its beautiful bas-reliefs, including the graceful Apsara carvings that represent the artistic achievements of the Angkorian era.

Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant (at guests’ own expense).

In the afternoon, discover the ancient royal city of Angkor Thom. Visit the impressive Bayon, well known for its 54 towers decorated with serene stone faces. From a distance, the temple appears as a mass of stone, but upon closer inspection the mysterious smiling faces gradually reveal themselves, creating a fascinating and unforgettable atmosphere.

Continue exploring other highlights within the Angkor Thom complex, including Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King and the Royal Palace area.

End the day with a visit to Preah Khan, a large temple complex built in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. The temple shares a similar architectural style with Ta Prohm and is surrounded by dense jungle, offering a unique and peaceful atmosphere.

In the morning, transfer from Siem Reap to a peaceful village in the Cambodian countryside. Upon arrival, begin a relaxing walk through the village to observe the daily life of local residents. Along the way, you will see many interesting activities such as small roadside food stalls, local shops, and even gasoline sold in reused bottles — a unique and authentic part of rural Cambodian life.

Continue your experience with a traditional ox-cart ride through the rice paddies, offering a wonderful opportunity to admire the natural scenery and interact with friendly villagers. The ride leads to a local family house where you will learn about traditional activities such as making rice wine and handicrafts. The host family will warmly welcome you with fresh coconut and a taste of homemade rice wine.

Lunch will be served at the village house, prepared with simple yet fresh local ingredients, while enjoying conversations with the family to gain deeper insight into rural Cambodian life.

After lunch, continue the journey by vehicle to visit the floating community near Tonle Sap Lake. Here you will enjoy a kayaking experience through the floating village, passing by houses, schools, and small shops built on the water while local residents travel by traditional wooden boats.
