The tour also includes a traditional ox-cart ride in the countryside. During the trip, you will stay two nights in a local homestay to experience authentic Khmer culture and lifestyle.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Siem Reap town for a light coffee or lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense). Afterwards, transfer to a local village located about 16 km from Siem Reap for an overnight stay with a local family. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by the host family and receive a short introduction from your guide.
Later, travel to Tonle Sap Lake for a boat ride to visit the floating village. Here you can observe houses floating on the water as well as stilt houses built along the lake, offering a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of the local community. Return to the homestay and, if time permits, enjoy the beautiful sunset over the rice paddies along the way.
Dinner and overnight at the local homestay in Chress Village.
Trekking distance: 3 km.
After breakfast, transfer by tuk-tuk to the Angkor Archaeological Park. From there, begin trekking along small jungle trails to visit Angkor Wat Temple. Continue walking to explore Banteay Kdei and Ta Prohm temples. A lunch box will be provided near the temple area. In the afternoon, continue trekking to visit Preah Khan Temple. Afterwards, take a short tuk-tuk transfer to Angkor Thom before returning to the local homestay for dinner and overnight.
Trekking distance: 15 km.
After breakfast, take a traditional ox-cart ride to visit Bakong Temple. Continue to enjoy a puppet show at the Angkor NGO Organization. Afterwards, transfer by car to visit Banteay Srei Temple, a small but beautifully carved temple often considered one of the most exquisite temples in Cambodia. If time permits, continue to visit Banteay Samre Temple; otherwise, transfer directly to the airport for your departure.
