Warmly welcome you on arrival in Phnompenh International Airport. Our guide will pick up to your hotel to check-in, and you will have time to take a rest after a long flight. And then the rest of day is on your own, you can make an impression on the city by night by exploring yourself.

Today, your family will explore the vibrant and historic city of Phnom Penh, located at the confluence of the Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac Rivers. Known as the “Paris of the East,” the city reflects Cambodia’s rich history, including its French colonial past and the challenging years under Khmer Rouge rule.

Your first stop is the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school turned prison during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979. Here, about 17,000 people, mainly soldiers accused of betrayal, were detained. The museum provides a powerful and moving insight into Cambodia’s tragic past.

Next, visit the National Museum, an architectural blend of French and Khmer styles built during the colonial era. Home to the largest collection of Khmer art and religious artifacts in the world, it is a must-see for anyone interested in Cambodia’s history and culture.

Then, continue to the Royal Palace, built in 1866 and home to the kings of Cambodia (except during the Khmer Rouge period). The palace complex offers a glimpse into royal life and the grandeur of Cambodian architecture.

Adjacent to the palace, explore the Silver Pagoda, famous for its floor paved with over 5,000 handmade silver tiles. Beyond its religious significance, the pagoda houses a treasure trove of cultural and religious artifacts, offering visitors a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s spiritual heritage.

In the evening, you are free to relax or enjoy an optional leisure cruise along the Mekong River. Located just 40 km south of Phnom Penh, the Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre is Cambodia’s largest wildlife sanctuary. Established in 1995, it cares for over 1,200 rescued animals, including rare and endangered species such as elephants, tigers, crocodiles, and sun bears. Children and adults alike will be delighted exploring this fascinating haven and learning about Cambodia’s wildlife conservation efforts.

Afterwards, enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to Phnom Penh. On the way, stop at Tonle Bati, a serene lake renowned for its peaceful atmosphere. Nearby, explore the historic Ta Prohm Temple and Prasat Yeay Pov, both built in the 12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. Often referred to as the “Mini Angkor,” these temples offer a glimpse into Cambodia’s rich architectural heritage.

After breakfast, depart from Phnom Penh for Kratie Province, a scenic drive of about 6 hours through Kampong Cham. Along the way, explore the local market and stroll past charming French colonial buildings, soaking in the town’s historic atmosphere.

Next, cross the Mekong River via the Bamboo Bridge, the longest bamboo bridge in the world, to reach Koh Pen Island, home to one of Cambodia’s most picturesque rural villages. Enjoy a traditional lunch in a local family’s home, experiencing authentic Cambodian hospitality.

Continue by road to Kratie, then take a boat to Koh Trong Island and check in at your resort. The evening is free for you to relax and enjoy the peaceful riverside setting.

Today, immerse yourself in the authentic life of Koh Trong Village. Stroll through the local market, where villagers trade fresh produce and daily necessities. Visit the primary school to learn about Cambodia’s education system, and explore the village pagodas, rich with cultural and spiritual heritage.

Enjoy a traditional lunch in the village, then head back to the mainland and continue to Prek Kampi, where the children will be thrilled to spot the rare Irrawaddy dolphins in their natural habitat.

Return to your resort in Koh Trong and enjoy the evening at your leisure, soaking in the peaceful riverside surroundings.

After breakfast at the hotel, take a boat back to the mainland and begin the scenic drive along the Mekong River toward Siem Reap. Today is a long journey of approximately 7 hours, but the route is filled with picturesque views of the countryside, traditional Khmer houses, and daily life in rural Cambodia.

Stop for lunch in Kampong Thom, then continue the drive to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax after a day on the road. The evening is free for you to explore at your own pace.

In the morning, after having breakfast, we will drive to southern of Seam Reap to embark on a short cruise to Tonle Sap Lake. You will have a chance to take a boat trip to experience the floating fishing villages of Chong Kneas, which is truly a must-visit in the same way as the temples, and the kids also can go fishing. There are floating houses, markets, schools, and so on. The main means of transport of the inhabitants on the lake is the boat equipped with engine. While sailing on the lake, you cansee many women in the dugout selling all kinds of things.

The Tonle Sap is the largest lake in Southeast Asia. Most of population inhabited around the bank of the Lake earn a living by catching fish and making agricultures. This lake offers a great biodiversity, over 300 species of freshwater fish, as well as snakes, crocodiles, turtles, otters and water birds.

In the afternoon, go to The Happy Ranch Horse Farm and your family will have a chance to explore both ancient temples and authentic Cambodian’s rural life by horse.This is a well-established institution where horses are available for riding. Riding a horse through paddy fields, visiting authentic places and observing traditional customs makes you have fun.

You have a dinner then we will take you to have a watch a circus show at Phare, The Cambodian Circus at 8:00 PMIt is not only a conventional circus, but also an emphasis on artistic performance and a social message behind each one. Phare artists will not make you disappointed with their talents, enthusiasm and artistic energies. Watching circus, the kids will actually be interested.

Today is dedicated to a full-day exploration of the Angkor Temples Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Southeast Asia’s most important archaeological treasures. The complex preserves the magnificent remnants of the Khmer Empire’s capitals, showcasing intricate and naturalistic Khmer architecture.

Begin at Ta Prohm, a temple almost reclaimed by the jungle, surrounded by tropical forests. Originally a monastery and Mahayana Buddhist school, it was built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th to early 13th century. The intertwining roots and stone walls create an unforgettable, almost mystical atmosphere.

Next, visit Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument. Constructed in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II as his mausoleum, Angkor Wat combines two classic Khmer architectural styles, creating a grand and harmonious design that has fascinated visitors for centuries.

In the afternoon, explore Angkor Thom, the last and largest capital of the Khmer Empire, located near Tonle Sap Lake. Built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century, its Bayon-style architecture includes Baphuon Temple, the Elephant Terrace, the Leper King Terrace, and the Royal Palace area. Complete the day with a visit to Preah Khan Temple, another 12th-century masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII.
