Trekking Tours
Overview
During these four days, you will explore the beautiful mountains of northern Thailand, home to a variety of tribal peoples. You will visit the ethnic groups: Karen, Lahu, Palong and Akha. Each of these tribes has their own traditions, customs, history and language. Before the start of the trek, we will provide you with information about the tribes, their language and the natural history of the region. Your guide will unveil the secrets of the forest and teach you the basics of Thai cooking if you are interested in helping him prepare dinner. On the last day, you leave for Karen village before driving to visit Chiang Dao Cave. After that, we will drive to the Mae Sa Valley where you will visit the Poopoopaper Elephant Park.

Expand all Collapse allWelcome you on arrival at Chiang Mai. The trekking guide will pick you up to the camping on Tang’s riverbank, where you can experience being on the bamboo raft.
We continue proceed to Chiang Dao by road to start the trekking tour at Akha Ban Hay Hok.
In the first hour of the tour, we visit Palong community - Pang Deng Nai and take a lunch there. Keep on trekking to Pang How, another village of Palong community, where we will stay overnight. There is few Palong villages in northern Thailand, which just moved from Myanmar to Thailand. The unique clothes of women there is mainly in red, with a rattan lace and a silver belt.
You will have the opportunity to help the guide cooking dinner. After dinner, we will visit the baan of locals to know more about their daily lives.

We go to the foot of Doi Chiang Dao – the third highest mountain in Thailand. Have a lunch in a local restaurant nearby then visit the famous caves in Chiang Dao.
The last destination today is Elephant Poopoo Paper Park, which is an eco-friendly, naturally built, outdoor museum park that introduces and explains the unique steps involved in making our much talked about paper products from elephant poop fibers!
Cheking-in the hotel in Chiang Mai then you can take your time to relax after an interesting trekking tour.
