Day 1 : Medan arrival

Upon arrival at Kuala Namu airport our tour guide will meet and transfer you to the airport for check-in the remaining time would be your own pleasure with an option to explore the Medan city with bustle & hustle streets. Overnight in Medan

Day 2 : Medan – Tangkahan (B)

Today we will have a short city tour of Medan with a visit of the Maimoon palace, colonial post office and black domed Mesjid Raya (Grand Mosque)
Maimoon Palace is an istana (royal palace) of the Sultanate of Deli and a well-known landmark in Medan, the capital city of North Sumatra, Indonesia. Today, it serves as a museum. It is one of the most beautiful palaces still in existence in Indonesia. Its unique architecture and interior design gives this palace distinctive character.
The Medan Post and Telegraph Office is a historic building in Medan, Indonesia. It was designed by Ir. Snuyf from Burgelijke Openbare Werken (BOW) and opened in 1911. The post office remains in operation and includes a stamp collection exhibit. A fountain in front of the post office was a tribute to Jacob Nienhuys
Grand Mosque of Medan is a mosque located in Medan, Indonesia. The mosque was built in the year 1906 and completed in 1909. In beginning of its establishment, the mosque was a part of the Maimun palace complex. Its architectural style combines Middle Eastern, Indian and Spanish elements. The mosque has an octagonal shape and has wings to the south, east, north and west
Afterward, lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon make your way to Tangkahan with brief stops at the cities of Binjai and Batang Se-rangan in Northern Sumatra. Upon arrival check in at your hotel and have free time for your relaxing

Day 3 : Tangkahan (B)

After breakfast we depart for our today’s elephant riding experience for 1 hour. Take part in washing your elephant in the river before proceed to our adventure through the jungle. Afterwards continue our ride until reaching a magnificent Buluh waterfall, having a shower here before taking a dip in the river or sunbathing on nearby rocks. Transfer back to the village and have a chance to interact with the locals and know more about their traditional customs. Finally hike back to your hotel for your overnight

Day 4 : Tangkahan – Bukit Lawang (B)

Today we will get on our jeep for off road to Bukit Lawang through the plantations and rural areas. Stop for photos against the backdrop of a spectacular panorama of the Sumatran forest en route. Upon arrival at Bukit Lawang, check into your hotel and spend the afternoon at your own leisure for your overnight.

Day 5 : Gunung Leuser National Park (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we will spend our time to visit the feeding platform to see the Sumatran Orangutan while being feed and prepared for release back into their natural habitat. We will first take a short stroll along the river bank and get on a rubber boat to cross the river. And we then continue our hike until we reach at the plat form while exploring the jungle and learning about its flora and fauna. You also have chance to know how to set up camp and also cook in Sumatran forest by our guide. Let’s enjoy a little bit of fun night with tea/coffee and snack before your jungle sleeping

Day 6 : Bukit Lawang (B, L, D)

Enjoy a simple breakfast prepared by your tour guide before embarking on a full day of hiking through a spectacular stretch of the Gunung Leuser National Park. Track native wildlife and get up close with native flora as you hike through dense jungle. Return to Bukit Lawang in the afternoon for your overnight. Today would be your last night here

Day 7 : Bukit Lawang- Medan depart (B)

After breakfast, drive to Medan, making a short stop at the traditional markets in Kuala. In the afternoon, arrive in Medan for your transfer to Kuala Namu International Airport.
