You will be picked up at 8:30am from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu for the start of your trip. You drive with your guide for approximately 2.5 hours to Kinabalu Park. Upon arrival the Guide will assist with National Park Registration and Mountain Guide allocation for the following day. The remianing afternoon is free for you to explore the lower trails of Kinabalu Park or visit the Botanical Gardens. Overnight Kinabalu Lodge – Hill Lodge
 
Early rising and breakfast at your hotel and proceed to the park registration office to meet your mountain guide. Our guide will arrange for all necessary registrations, assign you a mountain guide and apply for your ID TAG. You’ll then be transferred to starting point – Timpohon Gate – where your journey and quest to the summit of Borneo’s highest mountain begins. The trek takes 4-5 hours before you arrive to Laban Rata (at 3270m) for your dinner and overnight. If you are lucky to be here on a clear day, you will enjoy a beautiful sunset from here.
Get up very early today at 2:00 AM to start your climb towards the summit to catch the sunrise. This trail might take 2-4 hours to complete. Once you reach the summit at an elevation of 4095 meters, enjoy the fantastic scenery of sunrise. We then slowly follow the same trail down granite towards Laban Rata for breakfast and celebrate your achievement. Return to Timpohon Gate for your shuttle transfer to National Park Headquarters where you take a simple local lunch at Balsam Café. From here our tour guide will meet and transfer you back to Kota Kinabalu. It might be ended at your hotel in Kota Kinabalu or the airport for your onward flights
