Arrival in airport, pick up and transfer to hotel by local guide.  Check-in hotel. Time free for walking around. Overnight in Beijing.
After a sound sleep, start your tour at the mysterious Forbidden City. The guide will escort you for about 3 hours in the emperors' home, show you some interesting places you would never find by yourself, and guide you away from the noise and crush of other tour groups. No longer do you only see empty rooms in the Forbidden City but also pictures of emperors, concubines, and eunuchs on the expert's iPad, along with stories that bring the ancient city to life. In the afternoon, visit the Tian'anmen Square, which is very close to the Forbidden City and take a rickshaw ride through the traditional hutongs.  Overnight in Beijing.
Morning after breakfast, we will visit the Temple of Heaven, which was the place where emperors went to worship heaven and to pray for good harvests.  Nowadays, it has become an ideal place for local people to do morning exercises. A visit there gives you an insight into the pace of life of the citizens of Beijing.  In the afternoon, you will be driven for about 2½ hours to reach the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall.  A cable car takes you to a moderate part where you can walk along the wall and through the watchtowers, enjoying superb views as it snakes across the hills and mountains.  You can either return by cable car, walk down, or walk along the wall for about an hour to descend by chairlift or toboggan .  Overnight in Beiging.
Morning visit the Summer Palace and have a pleasant stroll around the luxury gardens of the royal family. Different kinds of pavilions and long corridors give you the full flavor of China.  In the afternoon, take your flight to Xi'an. Your Xi'an guide will be waiting for you at arrivals, and will transfer you to your hotel for check-in.
Option
Another transportation option is a comfortable 4-5 hours journey by high-speed rail from Beijing to Xi'an. It's a new experience to try.
In the morning, uncover the mystery of the underground army that dates back thousands of years at the Terracotta Army Museum and site. People are surprised by the magnificent man-made statues.  Then discover a local craftsman's cave dwelling and learn how to make clay warriors from him. After lunch at a popular Chinese restaurant, return to the city area and visit the ancient City Wall that has been guarding the inner city for 600 years. Walking along the ancient City Wall provides a good view of the city. You can also rent a bike to cycle around the wall.
Discover more of Xi'an and China's ancient history at the Shaanxi History Museum and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, then head to the Muslim Quarter and wander through the alley ways to explore and taste the local Muslim Cuisine, like Pita Bread Soaked in Lamb Soup, or Jiasan Steamed Soup Dumplings.
Transfer to the airport for your evening flight to Guilin. Upon arrival at the airport, your Guilin guide will greet you at the arrival hall and transfer you to your hotel via private car and driver.  Overnight in Guilin.
Wake up to birds singing in the morning, and your guide and driver will be ready to escort you to the Longji Terraced Fields. Built into the hillsides, the terraces are beautiful when the sun reflects on the water of the paddy fields, and the fields glow with yellow ears when the harvest is ripe. Longji (‘Dragon's Back') is always a feast for the eyes.
The Yao minority have lived there for generations in wooden houses and the people eat their own unique food, such as bamboo rice and oil tea. Sit around a bonfire in a traditional kitchen, and taste oil tea with the host.  Yao women have long black hair, but they never use shampoo, discover their mysterious method for keeping their hair clean and shining.
It takes about 2½ hours to drive from Guilin to Ping'an Village in Longji. After the day tour, you will return to your hotel in Guilin.

Enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the Li River as you cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, taking about 4 hours. You'll reach Yangshuo's wharf near the bustling West Street at about 13:30(1:30pm).  After check-in, your guide will choose a bike for you to start the biking tour around local villages. Meet local people there and have pleasant interaction with them. Overnight inYangshua.
To wrapping up your Yangshuo holiday, you will be driven about one hour to reach Daxu Ancient Town near Guilin. Daxu means “big market” and it was historically one of the “four biggest markets” of Guangxi Autonomous Region because of its proximity to the river.
Now, you can observe that the old town is not as busy as it used to be, since the high ways and railways have replaced the river as means of transportation, but the older generation living there still maintain their traditional way of life which is rarely seen in China nowadays. In the afternoon or evening, head to Guilin airport for your flight to Shanghai, a modern city.
The 2-hour in-depth Bund culture discovery experience will take you back to the golden age of the Bund in the 1920s. Go into old buildings to have a look around them. Enter the room that Albert Einstein stayed in.  To taste the modern flavor of the city, we have arranged for you to visit Shanghai Tower. To explore the traditional part, the charming Yu Garden presents exquisite examples of gardening and the Chinese people's philosophy of life. The busy Yuyuan Market, which is just outside
