The Sat Toung: Boat launched in December 2012, benefited from a complete refitting in May 2017 to be equipped with 4 cabins. This unit has been designed for comfortable and safe navigation specially appreciated during the long journeys as Phnom Penh – Siem Reap. It has a shallow draft to navigate as long as possible in the Year.

Sat Toung:  Boat launched in December 2012 and refurbished with 4 cabins in May 2017. This unit has been designed for comfortable and safe navigation for long journeys Phnom Penh – Kompong Cham – Kratié – Kompong Chhnang – Siem Reap. It has a low draft to navigate as long as possible throughout the year.

Crew: 1 Cruise manager + 1 captain with a long experience in river navigation + 1 mechanic – electrician + 1 sailor – 1 cooker – 1 maid (discovery cruises).

Sat Toung is equipped with all the safety equipment required by the Ministry of Transport

A bar

Toilets and individual bathrooms in each cabin + 1 common toilet + 1 toilet crew

Equipped kitchen with 4500 liters drinking water tank

A main deck with a bar + a panoramic rear deck

Free WIFI 4G available if cover present

220 V electrical outlet in cabins and main deck

Day 1: Day 1: Siem Reap (L,D)

6:30am: Support to our meeting in Siem Reap

7:30am: Boarding and departure to Kampong Khleang - Installation on board and announces safety instructions

7:30am: Breakfast

7:45am: Passage in the middle of the floating village of Chong Neas

10:30am: Anchor in front of the village of Kampong Khleang and visit with community vessels from the fishing village on stilts

12:30pm: Back on board. Sat Tung departed for the lake crossing

12:30pm: Lunch is served

4:00pm: We anchor near Pean Bang, visiting the village

6:00pm: on board

7:30pm: Dinner is served under the net amid cries of wild animals


Low water season - Early February to end of June +/- 2 weeks


6:30am: Pick up at the hotel by minibus in Siem Reap

10:00am: Passage to Battambang. Snack at a local restaurant

12:30pm: Arrival at the Chnok Tru pier

12:40pm: Passengers boarding the Chnok Tru market and visiting the floating village on a community boat

1:45pm: Boarding of passengers on board Sat Toung, installation on board and announcement of safety instructions

2:00pm: Welcome drink and lunch

3:45pm: Sat Tung anchors at the mouth of the Stung Sen River, in front of Khum Phat Sanday

4:00pm: Visit of the floating village Khum Phat Sanday on a fishing boat

5:00pm: Visit of a family and his house floating in the village (house of the family of the Sat Toung cook)

6:00pm: Back on board of Sat Toung

7:30pm: Dinner is served under the mosquito net

Day 2: Day 1: Siem Reap (L,D)

5:30am: Getting Started machines and departure Chhnok Tru

6:30am: Breakfast aboard Sat Toung  9:00am: Exit Tonle Sap lake and output reached Chhnok Tru

9:15am: Visit the floating village of Chhnok Tru on board community boat Low water season - Early February to end of June +/- 2 weeks

7:00am: Breakfast

8:00am: Boarding in a fishing boat to go up to a floating dock collecting fish from the boats fishing on Lake Tonlé Sap. This fish then leaves by boat to the village of Chnok Tru to be sold to fishmongers from Siem Reap or Phnom Penh

10:15am: Back on board Sat tung and equipment to Kampong Chhnang

10:30am: Departure

12.00am: Lunch

2:00pm: Arrival at Kampong Chhnang

2:15pm: Departure to the pottery village

4:15pm: Back on board Sat Tung. Departure to Kompong Tralach

6:15pm: Arrive near KaochSlaeng, anchoring

7:30pm: Dinner

Day 3: Day 3: Phnom Penh (B,L)

06:00am: Start engine and departure to Udong

06:30am to 7:30: Breakfast is served on the Sat Toung

09:30am: Mooring on the river banks in Udong and departure by Tuk-Tuk to the hill of Udong

12:15am: Back on board

12:30am: Lunch

3:00pm: Arrive at tourist port in the center of Phnom Penh. End of our support.

7:30am: Departure for the potery village by tuk-tuk

1:30pm: The Sat Tung wets to the entrance of Lake Tonle Sap

1:45pm: Visit the floating village of Chhnok Tru on community boat 

2:45pm: back on board  

3:00pm: Entry on the lake 

6:30pm: Anchoring in the middle of a mangrove area near Village of Pean Bang

7:30pm: Dinner is served under the net amid cries of wild animals

1:00pm: The Sat Toung anchors in front of Khum Pralay Meas

1:15pm: Visit of the village and its school (supported by the NGO Ptea Clara intimately linked to PhoceaMekong cruises)

2:15pm: Return to the ship

2:30pm: Passage in front of Kaoh ante tuk "the floating island" - Island sheltering a dozen houses, floating on the water of the river, hooked to the bottom, according to the inhabitants, by the roots of the centenary trees which pushed

2:45pm: The Sat Tung anchors at the mouth of the river Stung Sen, in front of Khum Phat Sanday

3:00pm: Visit of the floating village Khum Phat Sanday on a fishing boat

11:30am: Taken by the minibus

1:30pm: Crossing to Battambang. Lunch in a local restaurant 

5:30pm: Arrival at the hotel. End of our service
