Warmly welcome you on arrival at Noi Bai International Airport.
We transfer you by a comfortable vehicle to the city center of Hanoi for hotel check-in.

This day is scheduled for rest after your long flight. You may explore the city
at your own pace to get first impressions of Hanoi, and our tour guide is always
available upon request.

Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up and show you around Hanoi, Vietnam’s
gracious capital. Enjoy a full-day city tour starting with the
Ho Chi Minh Complex, home to his mausoleum, garden, house on stilts, and a museum tracing his life and work.

Our first stop is the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Located in the center of Ba Dinh Square, this is the most important monument in Vietnam, where Ho Chi Minh’s body is preserved. The mausoleum opens from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends, 08:00 – 11:00. Continue to visit the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s House on Stilts. The stilt house, completed in 1958, reflects Uncle Ho’s simple lifestyle and has become a lasting national symbol.

Nearby is the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Built in 1049, the pagoda resembles a lotus rising from a pond and was inspired by King Ly Thai Tong’s dream of the Goddess of Mercy.

Next, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. This historic site offers insight into Vietnam’s educational traditions dating back over 1,000 years.

In the afternoon, explore the impressive Ethnology Museum, dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. The museum features both indoor and outdoor exhibitions showcasing traditional houses and cultural life. (Closed on Mondays.)

Enjoy free time and dinner before transferring to the railway station to board the overnight soft-sleeper air-conditioned train to Lao Cai / Sapa (21:00).

Taking place only on Tuesdays, Coc Ly Market is a unique ethnic market
where you can meet various minority groups such as the Flower Hmong, Black Dao, Phu La, Nung, and Tay.

After breakfast, transfer by car from Lao Cai Railway Station to Coc Ly.
The drive is mostly flat through rural countryside, with the last 30 km becoming rougher as you approach the market area. You arrive at Coc Ly at the liveliest time, when the market is at its busiest.

Located along the Chay River, which flows from China, Coc Ly Market gathers ethnic minorities from surrounding villages every Tuesday morning to trade local products. After visiting the market, enjoy a scenic boat trip downstream, admiring limestone caves and daily life along the riverbanks.

Lunch is served on a river beach or later in a local village. The journey continues with a visit to Trung Do Village, home of the Tay ethnic minority, where you can stop at a traditional Tay stilt house and enjoy a cup of tea.

Continue cruising downstream until reaching Bao Nhai Bridge, where you
transfer back by car to Sapa. Overnight at the hotel in Sapa.

Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages are home to the Black H’mong and Dzay ethnic minorities. Visiting these villages offers fresh mountain air, beautiful, terraced rice fields, flowing streams, and the opportunity to meet local families to learn about their traditional culture and customs.

Along the way, enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Muong Hoa Valley, surrounded by magnificent mountains and endless rice terraces. You may encounter ethnic minority people such as the H’mong, Dzay, and Red Dao, who often sell fruits, sweets, and handmade items along the roadside.

Leaving the main road, we begin a scenic trek along a local trail to the Black
H’mong village of Lao Chai, where you can experience the daily life of the villagers. Continue walking from Lao Chai to Ta Van Village, home of the Dzay hill tribe.

Upon arrival in Ta Van, take a rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your local guide and hosted in a traditional village house.

After lunch, relax and continue trekking to the meeting point on the main road for transfer back to Sapa Town. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure for you to explore Sapa on your own—visit the bustling local market, admire colorful handmade brocade, or relax at tea and coffee shops while soaking in the mountain atmosphere.

In the evening, our guide will pick you up for transfer to Lao Cai Railway Station for your overnight train back to Hanoi.

Breakfast is served at the hotel before starting a scenic drive through the rich
farmlands of the Red River Delta toward Ha Long City.

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural attractions. Located nearly 200 kilometers from Hanoi, the bay is dotted with around 1,600 limestone islands and islets rising dramatically from emerald waters.

Earlier in the morning, arrive at Hanoi Railway Station at around 05:00 AM. You will be transferred to a mini hotel nearby for breakfast and freshening up before continuing the journey to Ha Long Bay at approximately 08:00 AM.

Upon arrival in Ha Long, board a luxury traditional wooden junk and begin cruising through the dramatic limestone cliffs and calm emerald waters of the bay. This cruise offers unforgettable views of this World Heritage landscape.

While on board, enjoy a sumptuous lunch featuring fresh local seafood. In the afternoon, take part in activities such as swimming and exploring impressive limestone caves hidden within the bay.

As the sun sets, the junk drops anchor near a quiet island for the night. Dinner is served on board while you relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overnight on junk.

Wake up to the tranquil beauty of Ha Long Bay and enjoy an early morning dip while watching the sunrise over the sea. Breakfast is served on board as the junk continues cruising deeper into the bay, exploring more secluded and peaceful areas.

The support boat will remain nearby throughout the excursion, providing assistance whenever needed. Around midday, return to the main harbor where your private vehicle will be waiting for a transfer to the airport.

Enjoy a scenic drive of approximately three hours to the airport for your short flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Thien Mu Pagoda - Hue We then set out to explore Hue’s most iconic attractions, beginning with a scenic boat cruise along the Perfume River to visit the picturesque Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as the Heavenly Lady Pagoda. Built in 1601, Thien Mu Pagoda is one of Hue’s most important religious landmarks and a must-see destination. The harmonious combination of natural surroundings and historic architecture creates a serene and spiritual atmosphere. After disembarking, we continue to visit the elaborate mausoleum of former Emperor Tu Duc.

Situated along the banks of the Perfume River, the Tomb of Tu Duc is considered the most poetic of Hue’s royal mausoleums. Designed by Emperor Tu Duc himself, it is the largest architectural complex among the royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty, reflecting both imperial grandeur and refined artistic taste.

Transfer back to Hue city center for lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue the journey with a visit to the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City.

Constructed in the 19th century under the Nguyen Dynasty, the Imperial Citadel is Vietnam’s most significant historical and cultural monument. Surrounded by a square wall measuring nearly 2 kilometers on each side, the complex is composed of three main sections: the Citadel, the Imperial City, and the Forbidden Purple City.

If time permits, enjoy a leisurely walk and some shopping at Dong Ba Market, where you can discover Hue’s local specialties.

Overnight at the hotel in Hue.

Hoi An Ancient Town After breakfast, we continue our journey south by road to Hoi An.

Hoi An Ancient Town is a charming destination in Central Vietnam. During the 16th and 17th centuries, it was a bustling international trading port welcoming merchants from across Asia and Europe. Today, Hoi An is beloved for its peaceful atmosphere, unique blend of architectural styles, traditional tailors, and cozy cafés.

The scenery along the way is exceptionally beautiful. We stop at Lang Co Beach for coffee and refreshments before winding our way up the spectacular Hai Van Pass, offering breathtaking views to the north over Lang Co Bay and to the south toward Da Nang City.

Continuing downhill, we arrive in Da Nang to visit the Cham Museum, the famous China Beach, and the Marble Mountains.

Upon arrival in Hoi An, enjoy your first glimpse of this beautiful boutique town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The tranquil charm of Hoi An, with its low-tiled houses of Chinese influence, the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colorful riverside market, makes it one of Vietnam’s most delightful destinations.

Overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.

Cycling in Bay Mau Water Coconut Forest After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day cycling through the scenic and peaceful countryside of Vietnam, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Leaving the town behind, you will ride along quiet village roads, passing lush rice fields and rural landscapes, before arriving at Van Lang fishing village and the famous Bay Mau water coconut forest.

Covering nearly 7 hectares, Bay Mau is a tranquil mangrove area of winding canals and houses shaded by water coconut palms. During the Vietnam War, this forest once served as a refuge for local people and soldiers; today, it is well known for its rich seafood resources and peaceful atmosphere. Along the way, we make stops at Ba Le Market, rice paddies, local schools, and village cemeteries, offering an authentic glimpse into daily rural life.

Upon arrival at the village, you will be warmly welcomed with green tea by Mr. Han and his family, the third generation living in this community. Enjoy time to stroll around the village before boarding a traditional basket boat, rowed by skilled locals, and learn unique fishing techniques in the water coconut forest.

Returning to the family home, relax with a therapeutic herbal foot bath, followed by a hands-on cooking experience with your hosts. Lunch is prepared together and features local specialties such as Tam Huu spring rolls, Banh Xeo pancakes, grilled fish wrapped in banana leaves, and other Vietnamese delicacies.

Nestled in a lush green valley, My Son Sanctuary is the largest and most well-preserved complex of Cham ruins in Vietnam. Once the spiritual and political center of the Cham Kingdom, the site reflects the rich cultural, religious, and artistic heritage of the Cham people.

After the visit, return to Hoi An for lunch (at your own expense).

At 3:00 PM, set off for a memorable afternoon experience with a sunset paddle excursion, traveling by either US military jeep or bicycle. Journey along peaceful village roads, passing through rural hamlets, shrimp farms, and tranquil waterways where local life unfolds at an unhurried pace.
