Expand all Collapse allYou are warmly welcomed at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Ubud. Take a rest after a long flight and explore this destination by yourself. In that time, you can also get acquainted with your bike accompanying with you on this journey. In the evening, we'll meet up for a trip briefing and then transfer to a nearby restaurant for dinner.

Today we will spend all day long on exploring the charm of the coastal town of Ubud. Ubud is in many ways Bali's cultural heart. This traditional country town is home to one of Bali's royal families. Ubud is also well known as a flourishing crafts centre. Morning start cycling through the rice paddies and off road trails around Ubud. Immerse yourself into the breathtaking landscape and enjoy the cool mountainous air while cycling.
On the way, we will make a stop at Tampaksiring Village area where we explore Tirta Empul, a temple known for its sacred waters where Balinese come to bathe at least once a year in a ritual of cleansing dedicated to Vishnu. After that, continue transferring to Pengukur-Ukur temple along back road.
We will stop at a local restaurant to savour a delicious lunch. Afterwards, return to hotel in Ubud. The rest of day is free. You can stroll around the town, swim, or relax at the hotel.

Our goal today is Batur Volcano, an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung on the island of Bali. We will start cyling trip with a ride along the rice terraces we continue climbing up the road to the Kintamani Plantations area and beyond to the crater rim of Batur Volcano. Immerse yourself in spectacular views of the Batur Volcanic cone and Mt. Abang and Mt. Agung in the distance while having packed lunch.
In the afternoon, upon arrival the base of the volcanic cone, we will start riding around the base of the volcano on narrow sandy trails. With the last part of the trail crossing the latest lava field, you will have opportunity to get a close up of the volcano and the strange moonscapes that it has created.
Afterwards, we will drive to Penulisan hotel and the rest of the day is on your own

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer by vehicle to the western rim of Batur’s caldera. From there, we will start riding up and down hills along small roads, crossing villages and plantations towards Bali’s northwest coast. Get a deep insight into life of local people while passing the villages of Bondalem, Tianyar and Kubu.
Make a stop to enjoy a light meal then continue along flat roads to Ponjok Batu, a temple complex built of black stone, facing the ocean. The last part of the trail is Singaraja town before accessing Lovina, a quiet coastal town on the North Bali. From here, we will drive to our hotel in Bedugul.

After breakfast, we will cycle to Labuan Luang harbor where we will take a local boat and head for Menjangan Island. Meaning ‘Deer Island’, Pulau Menjangan is within the marine reserve of Bali Barat National Park and is renowned for its coral gardens and tropical fish. Upon arrival here, you will have chance go snorkeling as well as the option to go diving.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch we can freshen up before transferring to Gilimanuk Harbour where we catch the Ferry across to Ketapang Harbour in Java. From here it’s about a 3-hour drive to Bondowoso. Installation in your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

After a day with a gentle schedule, today is the most challenging day as we cycle up the slopes of Ijen Volcano at altitude of 1,500m. We will start cycling trip gently along flat asphalt. Enjoy the breathtaking landscape and have a light lunch en route.
After that, we will regroup before the steepest part of the climb. Those who feel this next section may be too strenuous may want to jump in the support vehicle for this section as it is definitely harder than normal for a moderately graded trip.
Travelers who continue participate in biking trip will reach the base of the volcano and start climbing through coffee plantations along some steep sections on partially-broken asphalt roads. On the way we pay a visit one of Indonesia’s largest coffee plantations before eventually ending our ride in the remote village of Jampit Catimor. Here we will spend the night in a local homestay located within a colonial building on a coffee plantation.

Breakfast is on your own. Early wake up and trek along a wide, packed-dirt 3kms long path to the top of Ijen crater. At the top is a large crater lake surrounded by sulphur mines and, as we hike in the dark, we should be able to see the blue fire created by the hot sulphur seeping out of the crater. We will also have chance to obverse local miners as they collect and carry sulphur blocks weighing up to 70kgs out of the crater.
After returning to homestay we get back on the bikes and ride down to our hotel in Ketapang in time for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure. You should relax after the very early start this morning.

After that, we will make a stop to savour a packed lunch prepared by us. We continue to Rajewesi Beach, the gateway to Meru Betiri National Park. Tonight we camp on the beach, camping equipment (tents, mats, sleeping bags) is included and there is a basic block with toilets and cold showers.

Meal: Breakfast, lunch
We will access at Pulau Merah around lunch time and savour delicious meal in a local restaurant. The rest of day is at leisure, you are free to explore the village, go for a swim or just relax watching the sunset.
