You are  warmly welcomed at Wattay International Airport, picked up and transfer to your  hotel in the city center.
Check in hotel and take a rest. Have lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will first visit  the oldest Wat Sisaket which is not the only temple that was destroyed during the invasion of the Siamese army and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo.
We then discover a national symbol of Laos -  That Luang Stupa or the Great Stupa which is coverd with gold.
The last sights would be Patuxay Monument which is famous for Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.

Dinner will be provided at the local simple restaurant with traditional dance & folk song, you will get opportunity to have the first impresive experience of Lao culture.
Overnight in Vientiane.

Today, you will be picked up by a tuk tuk as well as our guide who will serve you in an organic rice, fish and vegetable farm on the outskirts of Vientiane. Operated by a Lao non-government organization using traditional Lao farming methods, this is the ideal place to give your hand at rice farming. The friendly farmers will guide you how to get your feet wet planting rice seedlings (during rainy season), or if it’s harvest season then cut and thresh your own rice for lunch! Go fishing, pick up fresh duck eggs, lstudy organic fertiliser and how it is made, and harvest fresh seasonal organic vegetables and bamboo (if in season).

When you’ve finished in the field, you’ll get opportunity to prepare and cook up a traditional Lao lunch with the days’ produce. Learn how to cook sticky rice and make papaya salad and have chance  to enjoy a picnic-style lunch and a well-earned rest.

On the way back into town, we’ll make a stroll at local fresh food market to check out the amazing diversity of Lao food. Stop for a while in the market for a traditional Lao coffee or sample some delicious Lao sweets.
Transfer back to your hotel late afternoon.
Overnight in Vientiane

An early morning we depart at around 7:30am for the National Park at Phou Khao Khuay, the nearest national protected area to Vientiane.
You reach the village of Ban Hatkhay at around 9:30am where you will be served freshly made Lao picnic  by two local guides with. The Orchid Trek starts at Pha Say with its panoramic view across a 40m deep gorge and the dense jungle. You follow narrow, shaded trails and explore the different types of forest in the park: semi-deciduous, tropical and bamboo – extraordinary, unspoilt habitats. You will get opportunity  to learn about the medicinal uses of the forest plants and also the other plant types that abound in the forest. A picnic lunch will be provided in a dry river bed (depending on the season).

Your afternoon continues with a pleasant stroll to the waterfall at Tad Say before making your return to the village. You may be lucky and see some the colourful butterflies and birds that live in the forest.
Late afternoon our transport brings us back to Ban Hatkhai where we have dinner, and stay overnight in a villager’s home.

In the morning  we get out of  the village and  we spend one hour to reach the Tad Leuk Waterfall. We will hike for around 2 hours through dense forest along the river accompanied local orchids expert until we arrival  the beautiful Tad Sang (Elephant Waterfall) waterfall! This is charming place for bathing and relaxation. Enjoy lunch in this scenery. In the afternoon, we will continue hiking in thought dense forest, bamboo forest and make sure your eyes will open as along the way, a large number of orchids can be seen, especially in wet season.

After hiking we start our way back to Vientiane. On the way it is possible to visit the information centre to see photos and explanations on the fauna and flora of Phou Khao Khouay park.
We will reach Vientiane at around 18:30. Transfer back to your hotel.
