Visit the old Palace of King H’Mong before having lunch then continue to Xinman to stay in a little peaceful guesthouse. From Xinman, we expect a full day of challenging mountainous climbs to reach Ha Giang. One of the best parts of this trip is the ride from Ha Giang to Dong Van, admiring not only a beautiful view of the mountains but also an imposing view of the rock plateau that won’t disappoint any motorcyclists. Arrival in Dong Van, walk around the town to see colorful markets or visit some interesting ancient houses which are more than 200 years old. Move on to Pi Leng pass – one of the longest and most beautiful passes in North East of Vietnam, the sheer scale of it all will definitely amaze you. Explore the villages of the Nung people who still make incense, paper, farming implement without modern machines then ride straight up to the Northern border between Vietnam and China to see the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam – Ban Gioc. It is one of Viet Nam’s best-known waterfalls, fed by the Quay Son River that marks the border with China. Continue to Nguom Ngao, such a famous limestone grotto in the northern mountain province of Cao Bang because of its distinctiveness and scale. Go for a boat trip on the Ba Be lake – one of the biggest natural lake in Vietnam. Lastly, stop at Thai Nguyen tea plantation and ride on a winding dike road along Red river, getting back to Hanoi.

Expand all Collapse allKeep riding to Meo Vac and contiue to Niem Son, Bao Lac. Lunch in Bao Lac and be on the not easy road to Cao Bang via Tinh Tuc; Nguyen Binh towns but the landscape is so beautiful with the villages, markets, high mountain and river. All are great for your trip. We will be in Cao Bang arround 6.00 pm. Check in hotel in Cao Bang.
We can be in Quang Uyen arround 4.00pm. the quiet town surrounded by some rustic villages of the Tay and Nung people . Do a home stay with local family.
Today we will have a late lunch in Trung Khanh town before riding back to Cao Bang. We will be back in cao Bang arround 5.00pm, check in hotel.
